Such a beautiful garden! Well laid out paths make it easy to see all the plants and animals. Make sure you go see the huge snapping turtle! (He's very well camouflaged!)

My wife and I really enjoyed it... We spent about an hour there. HOT HOT HOT, of course that is just Florida, I'm hot ice skating!! It's pretty peaceful and most people that come in are visiting so THEY are super nice!!! The people that worked there (I wished I remembered their names) were super friendly! We will be back in the spring.. not August!

The collection and variety of trees and plants is impressive. A small display of flamingos and macaws is nestled within foliage. The avian cages are large enough for birds who may not have taken flight for several years. However, the area could accommodate larger enclosures for room to take short flights is they wanted to fly. It was a hot day, the natural canopy of growth did not make it any more comfortable in this historically rich garden. Worth a visit. For locals, maybe wait until cooler temps prevail.

A wedding was going on while we were there which made it a bit difficult to walk around, but it is nice that they offer those kinds of services.

I think admission is pricey *unless* you consider that parking is included and that their cute gift shop has surprisingly reasonable prices. The gardens are very beautiful but I hope they get some of their water features working or at least redressed so they don't look so abandoned.

A beautiful location. For the space, I believe that there is quite a bit to look at. My hubs and I walked around for about an hour and a half. We enjoyed the koi fish pond, the wall of flowers at the North Lawn, and the aviaries.

Things to note, not all of it is wheelchair accessible and past the main entrance there are no bathrooms. However, there are picnic tables in the garden and multiple water features.

All in all, I would totally come back. It was a nice place to walk and well shaded.
