Great area if you are on foot or bicycle. There is always something going on in this area, whether it be local businesses with tents or food. There are some corny holiday decorations up now which you will appreciate if you are a christian.
I recently enjoyed the shopapalooza event in this park. The park was very nice.

Great area to go to if you're a tourist. You can walk along the bay and see all the boats and various activities going on( I saw a wedding on day) there are many places to eat and art galleries. I personally love going around sunset and sitting underneath the flower covered canopy and watching the sun go down over the water. Beautiful!
