Great tennis courts. Excellent pros. Open to the public. Green har-tru courts.
I walk around this entire park 2.5 miles twice a day. Never asked for money or felt threatened before dark. Also, I live across the street. Don't believe every review you see. Best tennis courts in St Pete.
Not the best park in Saint Pete by far. The neighborhood is shady as well. I would suggest Flora Whiley park on the old Northeast if you want a place with great views.
But it is rare to go for a stroll here and not get asked for money. (Or cigarettes if you're a smoker) Though that's typical of most places in this area.
Not a bad place to hang out, play basketball, etc and usually nice and quiet.
Not a safe place make sure you got some mace alot of transients drug addicts and shifty characters in the area begging for money. Even the walkers carry sticks or bring there big ol pit bull buddies to fight off the goons! The park is clean and pretty though its just the people around the area cus the shelters on 4th st that give this nice park shade on its reputation. The tennis court is always busy and hopping and there's a rec center for kids and alot of football games for the kids in season. So its not all bad but even living down the street my kids arent allowed to go. So pretty clean park but 75% of the time is drug deals going down or homeless around the trak closest to 4th street.
