Lovely museum! Exhibits in some areas change and are amazing! Great kids area! Also their special exhibits can be quite amazing! For instance, right now they have the Star Wars The Power of costume exhibit open on two floors and it is truly amazing! The costumes details are so rich and lovely plus it is fun to see what they looks like in person. The textures of the Fabrics are quite interesting and the fact that they used to soak so much was really surprising to me. A great place to enjoy visiting exhibits.
So neat to see so many artifacts antiquity all in one place! There were hundreds of items, rooms upon rooms, from all over the world. There was even an idol dated from 2500 BCE. I also really enjoyed seeing art from some of my favorite artists, such as Monet, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Norman Rockwell. I highly recommend if you are in this area to check out this little gem of art and history.
This is a wonderful museum. The building itself is beautiful. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and enthusiastic. The visiting exhibits always demonstrate imagination and vision. I admire their commitment to community programs. The guides are committed to access and even provide chairs in each gallery if necessary. Mostly, I wish I could visit more!! Thank you.
A small, but lovely museum. It is obviously cherished and well-maintained by the citizens of St. Petetsburg. I really enjoyed spending time there.
Fabulous collection! Family friendly, but still great for a quiet afternoon of art and history experiences. Fantastic/ beautiful waterfront facility for private functions. Admission discounts for Bank of America customers monthly!
