Had a wonderful visit. Took 7 and 8 year olds. And they loved it. Even the teen babysitter enjoyed it. Highly recommend. We stayed 2 hours but could have stayed longer except they were closing. Staff was attentive and good with the kids.
The young people on staff when we visited were good at engaging my kids in activities. The museum is pretty small but the activities and play areas are well conceived for the preschool crowd and we stayed for 4 hours happily playing. The museum is missing out on money not having a cafe or snack bar.
Celebrated my three son's b-day here this morning and it was Amazing! I was disappointed when they called me 2 days before the party and told me that the main attraction would be closed due to renovations. However, the staff was extremely kind and helpful during the party and compensated us and my guests with free admission in the future and half of the cost of the party!!! I don't even think any of the children even noticed it was fenced off. Everyone had a great time and were super impressed with the whole set up. I'm very tempted to throw another party here in the future. Great job Great Explorations
Awesome place to bring the kids to give mom a break and/or escape the weather. Kids could play here for hours and I usually have to tear them away. Staff as always friendly towards the children and do lots of fun actives for them to watch or participate in.
I love this place. It is perfect for my children. It's indoors, so you can get away from the heat. It's great during normal hours, but when there are birthday parties it is way too crowded and chaotic, which is why I only give 4 stars. We tend not to go on Saturdays in order to avoid the parties, and it's a great place. Can't wait until the new renovations are done on the cove. Great addition!
