Very educational, great learning experience for the kids. They have a great collection of art and artifacts. Would recommend for anyone who enjoys history or wants to learn more.

My FAVORITE part of the entire free museum day was seeing SO MANY young families with their children touring the museums. I'm a 28yr young adult, with no children, but admire the parents out there trying to inspire their future generations and showing them things that matter.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MUSEUM AND DEDICATION TO JEWISH HISTORY. Proud visitor to this excellent museum and proud to have it located in St Petersburg!

Visited the Florida Holocaust Museum for Free Museum Day! sponsored by the Smithsonian Magazine. What a beautiful and tragic tribute to such a travesty in history. Inspiring to read Holocaust victims' memoirs and to see former clothing - and even see a traincar that victims were hoarded to concentration camps in. The beauty of this museum is reflected in the quote I posted - we can never move forward, without acknowledging and correcting what happened in the past.

I don't recommend going on a 'free day' to this museum. There are a lot of informative cards and placards to read and it's way too crowded to stop everywhere. Overall, it was informative and thorough. I loved the artwork that was displayed and definitely learned quite a bit that they don't teach us in school.

Wonderful family friendly experience for quiet and meaningful reflection and historical perspective. Great temporary exhibits! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff and accommodating atmosphere.

Very informative museum. The exhibits are moving. The bookstore has a good selection, and occasionally have clearance books that are priced very reasonably. It's a trip that I would recommend to anyone interested in learning about the Holocaust.
