I had surgery there today and the entire staff was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and the hospital was super clean. Couldn’t ask for more.

I had to go there the other day into the ER. Due to my hyatal hernia, gastroparesis, vomiting, pain, and a very distended stomach. When the nurse asked me if I was on any street drugs. I said yes. Marijuana . Mind you I moved here 2 months ago from Utah because taking illegal drugs is against my religion. So I moved here where it was legal and I could not be sinning anymore. This nurse told me my systems where from a infection from smoking marijuana. Then treated me like a piece of poop on her shoe. mind u she doesn't know me from adam. I'm 45, I have diabetes, gastroparesis, hyatal hernia, NASH, neuropathy, rhaynauds disease, fibromyalgia, glaucoma, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus arthritis, pinched siatic, bursitis, degenerative bone disease, ptsd, anxiety, 1 × heartcattack, 1 × stroke, 1× diabetic coma, learned to walk again. and have not taken any man made meds in 4 years been using herbal treatments and not just marijuana, but tumeric, sage, cilantro and much more. So before you judge a patient in the ER... nurse practitioner Van Buren get to know them. And by the way my pressures in my eyes are 28 and that's with 2 previous glaucoma surgeries... I'm offended hurt embarrassed and am owed a apology in person NP Van Buren

A really offensive and basic facility. Open to bad workers and a lacking underfunded facility. Most of the patients, sick people and others who end up there are not helped or treated well. It's a medical nightmare and the place needed to be screened and observed by health officials. It's a low quality medical center.

I cannot say enough about St Anthony's hospital, particularly the ER. I brought my mother to the ER last week in the later evening due to weakness and fever. As soon as we walked through the ER entrance we were greeted with friendly faces and smiles. The registration girl Meghan, and the triage nurse Stacey were both wonderful. We were in the waiting room for a little under an hour before we were brought back to our room. I understand that the ER is busy, and since the staff had taken a sample of blood and urine from my mom, I knew they could have some answers by the time we got back to a room. The staff provided us with blankets and checked on us while waiting. When we got back to our room we were immediately greeted by our nurse Amanda. I can't put into words how fantastic she was the entire time we were in the ER. You can tell when a person truly enjoys what they are doing, and without a doubt knows what they are doing. That was Amanda. She was so calming and reassuring that we didn't want to leave! Not only was she caring to my mother, she also went out of her way more than once to make sure that I was comfortable and that we were being updated on the status of my moms blood work and other results. She 100% without a doubt, is the best nurse my mother or I have ever had. We have been to St. Anthony's ER several times, and we have never had a bad experience, however we hadn't had a nurse or staff member that stood out as much as Amanda. If we find ourselves having to come back to the ER, it will definitely be to St Anthony's and if Amanda is working, we will be requesting her room. Overall, I couldn't be more happy with the care my mother received, mostly thanks to Amanda. You truly have an amazing talent working in the ER and my mother and I can't thank Amanda and all the staff enough for that night.

So I have a dear friend that is in St Anthony's Hospital. I must say that the service that they are offering him has been less then what I would call adequate. I understand that there are other patients that need to be seen and that's a part of life but come on, I have watched his wife page for a nurse several times and still no one has come. He was not diagnosed properly after months of trying to get doctors to listen . His wife had to argue with people to get the rest done that proved that there was an issue and now that they know what it is and they are supposed to have someone come in and put in a feeding tube in and yet the Dr still hasn't been in. He hasn't eaten a thing 4 days. He is getting weaker by the day. They let him fall out of bed and break his pubic bone. I can go on and on about the piss poor medical service that they offer here. They know he has an issue with copd on top of a mass restricting his airway and yet they don't have an O2 sat on him at all times.
