My wife and I havr been sitting here at Bayfront since 2:20ish pm it is now 5:51 pm. Been forgotten about twice now. I get it your busy but seriously? We forget about patient's here? Definitely not going to make this my first choice ever again. Atrocious.
My boyfriend of 4 years was in a motorcycle accident. He was declared brain dead and would not let me see him until they heard from his family which were on a plane at that point and out of contact. An article was written and published about his death while I was waiting with friends in the waiting room and all of us unaware. Before they turned his body off I asked to have a few minutes lay next to him for my last moment to hear the last heart beats of my best friend and what I believed would have been my life partner but they wouldn’t let me. Then continued to give me even worse news while I just wanted a final moment. I don’t ever write reviews like this. I’m sure there are wonderful people that do amazing things at this hospital but the few people that were handling a great man really didn’t seem to care. Just poking holes and making money off of another piece of meat is how it felt!
Great hospital very sweet and caring staff I would say the best hospital I've been too in a long time
Was written an Rx for an antibiotic to treat strep throat. They never did the test to see if I had it. Knowing I did not have insurance, they wrote 2 Rx that totaled $500! The next day I called 2 times to get the antibiotic changed. The staff tried to pass the buck onto my pharmacist knowing that he isn't allowed to change Rx. Get off your lazy butts and go find a Dr. to change it. Do your job. And the lack of security walking from the parking deck to the ER entrance at night was despicable.
These people literally took my phone away from me and held it like it was a crime. I was obliterated and brought in by the police. Not violent or anything like that, just out of it. I'm from out of state, I went to a concert and got a little bit too drunk. I stayed a bit, woke back up. They had told me I needed to call a ride in order to be picked up. As an outider of Florida I had no reception so I ventured away and this nurse took away my phone! I explained to her I had a flight in the morning! People I needed to let know I was okay! I was trying to find the ride I desperately needed! I shouldn't feel like I'm in jail here!!!!
