On Central, in St. Petersburg, King's is a great spot for casual dining. The interior is wonderful, from the mint green subway tile to the black accents. A huge outdoor patio beckons with it's own bar, ping pong table and shady seating areas. We had the P-melt with fries and the taco trio, which hit the spot.
Parking was a bit of a challenge, but well worth it. We had the Jose Canseco, Speedy Gonzales, and a Chocolate Whopper. Everything was delicious and service was good, but I knocked off a star because the crinkle cut fries didn't quite cut it for me. They're a pretty standard side found anywhere placed next to a great entree with amazing flavor. I think a fresh cut fry double-fried would be better suited.
Simple and delicious. Straight forward burgers and well done crinkle fries. Currently our favorite Burger joint .
I've been here a couple of times and I want to love it, but... The food is just so-so—missing seasoning and flavor, something memorable. My friend and I split the three greens salad and grilled mac-n-cheese sandwich. The sandwich wasn't melty—where was the cheese? The service is great and the atmosphere really fun. Drink selection also good. I just wish they used more fresh herbs and quality ingredients in the kitchen.
Ive been to Kings multiple times. I really enjoyed their milkshake and frose! Nice outdoor area. Food is overpriced and just okay.
