After spending tens of $1000s over the years with Best Buy and Magnolia I am done. I was lied to mislead and my money has been used by them and not returned. I went in there looking to buy a sonus sound bar. The magnolia salesman told me he had a better one Deffinitive tech but wasn’t hooked up. I was advised to buy it try it and if I don’t like it to bring it back. I paid cash $900 and something. I asked if they would refund me he said absolutely. It was almost closing time and the next morning I took it back it sucked. I was informed they cannot refund me as I paid cash and will have to wait 2 weeks for a check in the mail. Absolute joke they would not pay me. The salesman never told me this when I paid cash. Tried to sell me other stuff and major run around. They claim they have no cash on hand and a policy not to refund over around $250 the manager promised to expedite a check and call me. Nothing has happened except excuses. I will never shop there again you cannot trust them at all.
Great store. I was promptly helped through every department I went to. I was directed toward items I was interested in and made aware of current promotions. Employees were enthusiastic and helpful. One of the best, "Bestbuy" experiences.
I did check out some of the other gadgets here, and believe in online ordering many items too, but sometimes stores are less expensive, other times online is best. So if buying a large ticket item, be sure to check your options so you get the best price. Best Buy is normally a low priced, high tech place. And you get to touch the items and see how you really like them, plus no wait for the need it now guys, ha. I like Best Buy stores and this one was as expected and a nice place to shop.
I like Best Buy, it's a gadget guys dream toy store. I like to check out the cool new electronics and other high tech things. Today I just needed a cigarette lighter plug for my car that splits into 2 for a temporary fix to charge a couple items at once.
The lines were short and the staff was helpful when they saw me wondering the store. They knew exactly what I was seeking and where to find it. The price was about $25, and on par.
Best Buy will price match Amazon. They stand by their products. As you move up through their loyalty program, your return period becomes longer (from 14 days to 45 days). Worth checking out!
