It's Walmart, I'm not to sure what expectations customers hold. Sometimes you receive excellent service with friendly employees, other times not so much. The store is a smaller super center. There is a auntie Annie's pretzel's and eye glass center.
It's a Walmart superstore in a mixed part of St. Petersburg serving a very diverse clientele. I have been going for almost 10 years. Not the cleanest but not too dirty. Employees are generally friendly and helpful but not always easy to find. Generally pretty good at keeping the shelves stocked. I have found some really good bargains in the clearance sections. Pay attention to the price when your items are rung up. Not always the best at the price on the shelf matching the price in the system. Goes both ways - sometimes more, sometimes less. I always use the self checkout. I like it better and can usually get out faster than waiting in line for a cashier.
Mr. David Green, you were above and beyond the call of duty tonight. Super friendly, helpful and patient. I thank you man...Management/supervisor, give this gentleman a nice raise and bonus for the holidays!
V. good service, friendly, courteous & always willing to go out of their way in response to customer's needs. The Customer Service dept is always efficient & courteous, even when there's a long line. Clean store, from the ample parking lot to the restroom. Vegetables, Dairy, Frozen food sections always look fresh & well kept. However, the Deli is the opposite of all the above. Skip it! I'll never go there again! My experience in that dept. has been disappointing numerous times: Very poor service: inattentive, self-absorbed, rude. Also, the selection of of salads & ready-made foods has been sparse, old, stale, even spoiled. The display case was nearly empty every time, 2-3 hrs before the after-work rush, and that's it for the day! So at this particular Walmart store, skip the Deli, then it's all good.
It's a decent store overall. They have a good selection of items, employees are pretty friendly, and it's usually clean. The only complaint I have is that all the registers are normally slammed after about 5pm or 6pm
