I have been to see Dr. Obrochta and his lovely staff twice now. They are very professional and welcoming. I've noticed that a large component to their practice is educating their patients. This was the first time I've had a hygienist explain her methods for doing a cleaning while she was doing it.
They have an in house dental plan that basically pays for itself after two cleanings. Very affordable considering how expensive dental work can be. I highly recommend this practice, especially for "dental cowards".
When i asked for my x-rays to be sent to another office, they could not find them and said I was never a patient. Turns out they had misspelled my name. It was extremely upsetting. If they cannot spell a name right, well...I don't like to leave bad reviews but I was pushed too far.
Love this dental office! The entire staff is exceptionally caring, friendly, professional and informative. Dr Stephen Obrochta gives personalized, individual attention to each of his patients. He truly cares about they're well-being. I highly recommend these guys.
Fillings were pain free (without any numbing medication!!) because he uses air abrasion to remove minor cavities.
I am not certain what Sherry Deatrick is talking about in her 1 star review. Dr. Obrochta is by far the best dentist in town. His attention to detail is unmatched and he is always concerned about what is best for my health before proceeding. Everyone I know goes here, the environment is happy and his staff is wonderful. I have been going to Dr. Obrochta for twenty years and enjoy seeing him a few times a year...how many people say that about their dentist?
Very rude person. I was in pain and had to beg for an antibiotic to clear up an infection. He said he did not want to give it to me because he was afraid I would not return once the infection cleared up. WTH? He wanted me to have two teeth extracted and would not say what would happen after that. He cannot do it himself so he referred me to an oral surgeon. Needless to say I did not do it. There are other ways to fix gum disease rather than yanking out a perfectly good tooth. Avoid this dentist.
Dr. Obrochta is funny and engaging. He is passionate about what he does and he made me feel 100% comfortable.
I highly recommend this dental practice. Great doc and friendly staff!
