I worked with Jay at Trek Bicycle to see what was needed to bring my wife’s 1995 Hybrid Diamond Back Approach back from mothballs. The bike had been ridden only three times in 22 years and I was expecting the worst. I did my due diligence for what I thought needed to be done and Trek Bicycle was in line with all the pricing. Come to find out all the major components were perfectly fine and all I needed was a couple of tires, tubes, saddle and tune up. They turned the bike around in a few hours and before I knew it, I was rolling down the street on my kind of NEW BIKE!
These people go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Not only are they amazing to deal with at the store, but they are next level people outside of the shop. My wife blew a tire 45 minutes from home, and through some type off telepathic awesomeness, the bike tech JASON came riding by. He had an extra tube and fixed her tire on the spot. Can't say enough good things about Jason and the Trek team in St. Pete:)

This is the way to do great customer service! We had looked at bike racks for our car, but hadn't purchased because we needed to get a hitch installed first. Jay called us to let us know that the rack we were looking at had a reduced price. When we returned to purchase it, we were met with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Jay took the time to address our questions and to call us later to be sure we had everything we needed. He invited us back for further training anytime.This store is a bit out of the way for us, but worth the drive.

I didn't find the staff overly friendly, nor rude. They were just kinda there. Answered my questions but didn't really offer any additional insight. It was just after lunch so may they were food coma'd. Convenient location. But not inspired to go back.
