Would have given 5 stars, if not for douches short security guard, who accosted me, saying "You're not the only one here you know." because I was going to... The bathroom. Great barstaff, great atmosphere, douches for security guards. Or at least the short guy with a complex.
Was excited to go in. When you walk in you come up to the bar first, then you walk through to the dance floor.
So our first experience walking in- we walked up to the bar the bartender was very short with us very rude and my drink was so terrible that i had to throw it away. My boyfriend got a drink as well and said it was very burnt. That bartender set the mood for the rest of the time (which was short) that we spent inside lux. The music was decent -not good. And to pay a cover charge for a rude and terrible bartender then to have only decent music and an ok crowd, was ridiculous. Will not be going back. There are a bunch of ither clubs/bars along that strip, pick somewhere else!
When we were visiting in St. Pete my friends and I wanted a nice spot to dance and this is the place with great vibes and music- whatever's on the radio!
Fun night club in the area and no cover charge
Amsome af phibie is the best bartenter ever she is lovel, nice friendly, and if want she hold a conversation if your looking to get lit go to Lux.
