Love this place I was there today and Laurie was so kind to my needs and so sweet I cant wait to go back great selection of things for animals and great grooming thanks again!
This place is awesome. The staff was phenomenal. Our puppy was super happy.
This place is a one stop shop for all things pets (admittedly I only looked for cat and dog stuff).It was clean, well stocked with pet goodies, and offered a bunch of pet related services such as grooming and boarding. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was that it was on the pricier side.
I came in this afternoon (9/24) after calling to see if they had the muzzle that i was looking for. The woman on the phone told me they did- so we drove all the way there. Once we arrived, the woman in the front saw us looking at muzzles. Not only did she not greet us, but while sitting there reading about them for over 10 minutes, she never came over to even ask if we needed help or had any questions. So when I went up to the counter to ask if she had anymore in stock, all she did was simply shake her head. I wasn't even treated with the respect of words. Not happy!! I even made a comment about the customer service as I was leaving and then heard chattering about me as I exited the store. I sure hope they treat the pets that come in there better than humans who spend the money there. I have never written a bad review for any where before, but I was so offended when I left, I had to share my experience.
"ROYAL PETS" IS AN OVERPRICED RACIST PLACE!!! EVEN THE EMPLOYEE'S AT THE FRONT COUNTER SAYS IT'S A RIP OFF!!! Thank you Miss at the Front counter For Sending me to TJ MAXX for my Dogs Car Seat!!! Your Right it was a better Idea. They lured me in by Promising Service's I NEVER RECEIVED!!! Bought a $50.00 a month "Wellness" plan that should've included a "Puppy Bath" ETC ETC. Never Received it!!! I WAS TOLD BY THE GROOMING DEPT. "My Dog Wasn't Groomed Enough for them to Take him" I thought that was why You have a Job in "Grooming"? Then was told my Dog Had "Elevated Liver Enzymes", And After $700.00, and a Stressful Drive to Tampa To Be Told His is "PERFECTLY FINE" For Every "Recommended Product" I Spent More MONEY on My Dog NEVER USED!!! From the FOOD, TOYS, BATH PRODUCTS, OILS, SPRAYS, my Dog has a Closet full of "Recommended Products" HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS for Nothing!!! Just one More MONEY MAKING SCHEME to Rip Off Vulnerable Pet Parents. To top it off I canceled my "Wellness Plan" To Be TOLD " Because I Used Services that was supposed to be prepaid for I owed a Balance? Mind you My Dog Probably saw a Vet maybe 4'xs, and Paid for Each Visit. Not to mention we only had the plan maybe 6 mths at best!!! The AUDACITY to ask me to STEAL MORE MONEY to close my account. I’m so Glad PET SMART will be across the street SOON!!! "ROYAL PETS" should be named "ROYAL RACIST THIEVES"
