This is a beautiful place to visit. I can't call it a mall. It is a place with major restaurants, shops and a deluxe movie theater. There is indoor and outdoor eating. The shops are upscale. Just go there and see!
Other than coming to the theater and visiting Locale Market, there is nothing else I would personally do here. Have been to Sea Salt and Ruth's Chris but these are not places I would frequent regularly.
Parking is convenient at least and it's a nice starting point when I take guests downtown. We normally park, start at the Sundial and walk down towards Beach Drive or Central.
Visually, it's a pretty area. Other than that, I'm not sure this appeals to the average person looking for a place to spend some time. The stores here are higher end and restaurants are expensive, so pretty sure they are trying to attract different clientele from what it used to be.
I really like coming to this location. It's a great place to walk around outdoors on a nice sunny day. You can go to the nearby parks, the marina, window shop all the small businesses all around this area, and just sit and relax outside by the Sundial and enjoy the day and people watch.
There are several great upscale restaurants here and within walking distance, as well as small mom-n-pop shops selling jewelry, coffee, ice cream, souvenirs, and much more! The alfresco dining experience is available pretty much at all the eateries in the area. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak times, but there are parking garages nearby, or just make a couple laps and walk to any of the great places in this area.
This place is GORGEOUS! I want to come back as much as possible! It's MUST SEE if you are in the area! I absolutely loved it here. Very rich part of town, with expensive things. But we came here and barely spent anything, just came for the beautiful pictures we were able to take. Also, there was a huge line trying to get glasses for the Solar Eclipse!!! So cool
The 20 screen movie theater here is great, is has digital, IMAX, RealD 3D, and Dbox and the cost to see a show ranges by day and time, but is about $8 to $16 depending on which screen type you choose.
Really nice establishment and great selection of restaurants and stores. This place has come a long way and has been cleaned up for the better. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.
There could be more men's shops, and just more shops in general, as this is not a huge mall, but it is open, airy, clean, and a nice time can be had here and in the area. And if you're on a tight budget, there's still plenty you can do.
