Excellent location for access to the downtown waterfront St Petersburg. Popular restaurant called the Hanger on the airport grounds. Dali museum across the street. One mile form Vinoy Renaissance Resort Hotel. Less to Sundial St Pete. Great community asset.

I went for a helicopter ride. Great small airport. Lovely people. Incredibly friendly.
I've only every had breakfast here, but I have enjoyed every visit. It has become common for us to take guests there for breakfast when visiting from out of town, as it is nice to sit outside and watch the small planes take off and come in.
